What color GameCube is your favorite?

I've always owned a Black Gamecube, from when I bought the system to when I rebought the system after my first one broke. It's always been because I've never liked the purple one and it's the other one that was in stock. But what is your favorite color GameCube (regardless if you haven't owned it)

My favorite color is probably platinum. Ironically, that's the color I don't own.

By the way, I got all three of these GC's for just 10 bucks.

Black, because it looks best with the Game Boy player. Plus I've owned a black one since the console first came out and I've never had to replace it.

The silver one is really cool but has that "late adopter" stigma to it.

I still have my orange controller in all of its clashing glory. I remember there being a playground rumor about an orange GCN and one kid claimed to have one. Technically, the orange GCN is real but I doubt that kid imported one from Japan.

I decked out my black GameCube with a Game Boy Player and Broadband Adapter.

Those are the really rare and expensive component cables in front of it.

First GameCube was indigo, then the second one was silver, and the last one happened to be black.

Black and Indigo came out simultaneously... Anyways, my black one has only failed once (the disc reading laser failed around 2005-06) and Nintendo repaired it for me really cheap, so that's my favorite. It also looks cool with my black controller, black memory card, and black CRT.

Nah, it's okay. That happens. xD
My GameCube consoles pretty much stopped working one-by-one. Rather than going to Nintendo Support for repair, I went on to get new ones in different colors.

I love the Mint cube's color, but I can't stand the face on the disc tray door. It just kinda looks... out of place. I can't quite explain why. I'd definitely get a mint controller if I could.

I would kill for a Qcube, though.

I grew up with three purple/indigo colored Gamecubes, so that would have to be my favorite. Two of them stopped reading discs at some point, but my third is still going strong.

Those were the only purple colored Gamecubes I actually ever saw in person. Everyone else I know had black Gamecubes.

Back when the GameCube was first coming out I was moving into a new house; I ended up painting my bedroom walls purple so it was like I was inside a giant GameCube.

Try cleaning the laser lens with a Q-tip dowsed in Windex. I've done this before and sometimes it works.
