Hello Smashboards!

I've been a member here for a little bit, made a few posts, but I saw this section and figured I'd take the time to officially introduce myself to the community.

I started playing Smash 64 in college 9 years ago and quickly grew to love the game. I just played with close friends, but we were competitive with it in an isolated, scrubby sort of way. Our group wasn't really into Melee, but we played a fair amount of Brawl when it came out. And then I graduated and suddenly had no access to Nintendo consoles or people who liked to play, so I dropped the game. Smash 4 however has rekindled my love of all of the games, as well as sparked a drive in me to improve on a competitive, tournament level and be an active member of the community, both local and online. I played my first tournament this past weekend (online, 3DS) and had a blast. I hope to start attending locals soon.

Smash 4 is currently my focus, though I've put some PM (and Melee). I love all of them for different reasons though. My mains are:

64: Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon
Melee: Marth
Brawl: Mr. Game & Watch
PM: Marth
Wii U/3DS: Charizard, Marth

Thank you to everyone who makes this site's and this game's community a great place and I hope to meet lots of you as I get into it.
