What's wrong with Olimar or Toad, Olimar has 2 great games for the GCN and is the awesome. I don't care much for Toad but he still seems like a logical character for Brawl. The rest I agree with either generic enemy or non important guy. I don't hate anyone really Daisy, Waluigi, Toadette, and other fillers I don't like them.
