Smash 3DS What Are Your Top 3 Favorite Stages and Characters?

So now that the game has been out for a few days and we have gotten a chance to try it out, I was curious about what stages and characters you guys are enjoying. These do not have to be the stages/characters you win the most with, just which ones you like to use the most.

Here are mine:

Characters:

#3 Dr. Mario- My main in Melee, happy to have him back

#2 Bowser- He has always been one of my favorites and now that he is not so slow, I can actually use him lol

#1 Greninja- Very fun moveset imo




Stages:

#3 Tomodachi Life- really unique stage with the different floors, yet not too many gimmicks

#2 Tortimer Island- I like pretty much anything beach themed and its cool how you fall into water rather than just falling off the stage

#1 Gaur Plain- The way you have to jump from platform to platform and fight on such small spaces makes for some intense battles

Characters

- Fun moveset, reminds me of Tron Bonne. Also, I like mechas

- Fun moveset as well, plus they are so cute, especially the little duck. Very nostalgic also

- Grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade, grenade (repeat)

Stages

Magicant - Best stage in Smash Bros, period

Dream Land - Love the green scenery and both versions of Green Greens are amazing

Tomodachi Life - Cute stage with a cute music theme, plus I loved seeing my Mii in one of the rooms

 

[Chocobo Link]

Characters:

#3: Shulk - Very unique swordsman and I feel he can be a monster when mastered

#2: Pit/Dark Pit - Improved greatly since Brawl imo, especially that side-B

#1: Robin - Really sets herself apart from the other FE reps and just overall fun and refreshing to use


Stages:

#3: Magicant - Haven't played much Mother, but the stage is just so pretty

#2: Gaur Plains - I love the music and the fact that getting spiked could end it all so easily makes it more exciting

#1: Dream Land - Really loving that it has that retro look/feel to it (kinda reminds me of the GBA days)

 

[IFC Jigglypuff]

Characters:

3: Jigglypuff: smash 64 main, 3rd melee main, 3rd project m main. & jigglypuff is my favorite Pokemon which is my favorite Nintendo franchise.

2: Sheik: love her moveset, & just the way she plays in general.

1: Yoshi: he actually seems like a good character for once, doesn't seem like trash & fun to play.

Stages:

3. Magicant: I love all 3 mother games & the stage is pretty looking & I love the music.

2: Arena Ferox: Reminds me of Pokemon stadium with the neutral layout & the transformations.

1: Dream Land: Love the classic gameboy start up at the beginning & the music for the stage & I played a bunch of Kirby when I was little

Chars: (in order)


Stages:
Magicant, Brinstar and Mute City.

 

[SwoodGrommet]

Characters
1) Dark Pit/Pit. Really nice moveset and great recoveries.

2) Toon Link. Love his speed and smashes.

3) Yoshi. Really good air moves in my opinion. Gets damage racked up easily enough too.

Stages
1) Yoshi's Island. Love the Yoshi's Story music!

2) Reset Bomb Forest. Cause y'know, I liked Uprising. Also the music.

3) Living Room. I think the falling blocks and objects are a pretty fun feature

Characters

1) I'm a sucker for melee-magic hybrids, and the Bronze Sword is still a decent weapon when I'm waiting on the Levin Sword to come back

2) His tilts, jab combo, and smashes...Every hit feels satisfying.

3) Replacement for Marth. While I liked using Marth in Brawl...I've always hated the tipper mechanic.

Stages

1) Find Mii: I like the layout, and the stage hazard isn't too intrusive in 1v1's and 2v2's from my experiences, even with the buffs to another player.

2) Magicant: It's literally fan service for fans of the Mother series, and I actually like the layout of the platforms.

3) Brinstar: I've always liked this stage, mainly for the music, and it's one of the hazards I've always liked in the series
