Smash Journeyman
For this topic, I want to know if you have any goals for this game, other than having fun, getting very good, and becoming one of the greatest players.
About me on the goal, I had a goal from the first two "Smash" games (one of them was achieved) that I wanted to do for this game. But that goal was ruined after "Brawl". For me...I don't want to have fun, I don't want to be very good, I don't even want to become one of the greatest players. I just want to go for that achievement I did from "Smash 64". But that's practically impossible now, unless sheer luck is on my side. The success rate of achieving that same goal for this game is 30% (maybe 50% at best). Gambling 15-minute attempts into that goal is something I would consider doing...if the success rate was 90%. Because of that, I don't really want to gamble a 15-minute attempt into this game every time, only for RNG to royally screw me (and the other person) over most of the time at the very end. "Smash 64" and "Melee" are currently interesting for me because I can actually do the goal for those games without too much trouble. But with "Ultimate" practically sealing the fate of my goal, I really don't see myself playing this game or even looking at any more videos of it, unless a BIG miracle happens, whether it's an update patch or a mod that meets up to my standards from "Smash 64" and "Melee".

On a rant note, other than "Smash 64" and "Melee", I'm not supporting the series anymore. I've tried so hard to keep being supportive through the years of "Brawl" up to "Ultimate", but...they've made it impossible. And for me, "Ultimate" is where I finally draw the line. To me, that game is the ultimate back-stabber, ultimate betrayal, and ultimate disappointment. I'm done supporting the series after "Melee". I may get the 10-foot cord length of the GameCube controller sometime in the future, but I wish that logo wasn't there now...because it ultimately betrayed me. Why should I continue supporting the series that does nothing but disappoint and essentially discourages the goal I did from "Smash 64"? Give me one very good reason why I should still support the series after "Melee"!
