ITd be nice if Lucas had a constantly evolving metagame. He's a pretty glitchy guy so Im thinking there could be something else out there still equivalent to the bstick pkfire or zapjump. So this post is for people to talk about the best moves to play with in order to discover these new advanced techs when experimenting with Lucas.

We already know that his jump physics are kind of screwy. Both zap jump and bstick exploit it so Ive been messing with that some. I've been trying weird combinations of buttons at the start of the double jump but so far nothing. I've also been throwing out zair, it has weird qualities that make him float strangely sometimes. Is this a waste of time? I have no illusions of being a good player Id just like to help Lucas mainers out somehow to get him higher tier.

Yup, glitchy jump physics (it's like the MOTHER kids exert force up on themselves... and then exert force downwards later...). B-sticking stuff seems character-general. I'd love to know why it allows the things it does (not the final cause, the formal cause).

I think there's something yet to his PSI Magnet, turning it off, and how it changes your momentum. There's got to be something in that.
I think that's all, though. How broken could an A-attack be? What else could there be to PK Freeze, even in a glitch?

Knowing all of PKT2's properties would also seem valuable. How to hug, how to bounce, if you can cancel (highly doubt it), etc.
Lastly, maybe there's a way to do a rope snake in the air, but have it grab. We already know you can do a hopped PK Fire with Ness; it would be the same principle.

I'll have my PK Thunder guide out pretty soon. I need to proof read it and take out some unnecesary stuff. It includes a couple of techniques. Not all of them are terribly advanced persay but I think they're useful. Also I was messing around with the tether the other day and found that Lucas can land on the stage faster from the ledge if you ledgehop and immediately tether but DI toward the stage. If you do it just right the snake grabs the ledge and then lets go as soon as his feet touch the stage so you can do any move from there. It's kind of similar to ledge wavedashing in melee only slower. I don't know how useful that can be though cuz I haven't messed with it much in real matches. Lucas has such an amazing ledge game already anyway. This also works when you do it on your 4th tether even though the snake won't actually grab the ledge it still stops your momentum. I have yet to find anything glitchy or useful about PK Freeze unfortunately besides that it affects your momentum a lot. I don't see it being used for much but you can always give it a shot.

Lucas can waveland attacks if you tether and DI left or right just before you hit the stage. The slide is kind of short, so I'm not sure how useful it is.
