What are some subtle changes you've noticed about P:M that were not explicitly announced?

Not really easter eggs, but maybe just little things you noticed that weren't really announced officially.

for example:

I played brawl yesterday for the first time in a long time and barely noticed that brawls mario Nair is a different animation than P:M's Nair. I don't remember ever reading about this, as I've read every bit of P:M news thats came out since 2.1. I assume P:M mario's Nair is a direct copy of melees animation? (I dont have melee to verify this myself).

Pretty cool how im still finding out little thing about this game.

If this change was announced and i missed it somewhere, please lock the thread and erase my account as punishment. Thanks!

Post any other little things you've discovered that haven't really been mentioned yet.

The same applies for moves that remained relatively the same from Melee to Brawl like Link's Nair. It had a startup animation in Brawl where he lifted and then kicked his foot out. This has been removed entirely so that it comes out near instantly like in Melee. Link's Bair (and this is one I had even pointed way back, being as picky as I am about that one) used to leave the alternate leg hanging low while Melee Link tucked his legs closer to his body, making the move safer.
