Has anyone else noticed an increase in CPU difficulty in 11.0 or am I crazy? I don't get a chance to play with people very often so I play against the computer most of the time but I've recently found that the AI is more aggressive and punishing, as well as being better with follow-ups and combos. Falcon in particular. I'm not sure if I'm on to something, or I'm just bad at the game.
I'm including a video of a match I had with falcon (I have more if anyone wants more evidence). At 0:26 he punishes my landing nair, at 0:39 he lands a crazy knee and at 1:38 he throws out an upair in disadvantage, preventing my edgeguard and follows up on it. None of this stuff is too crazy except that it's a cpu doing it, which seems abnormal to me. And on top of that he just seems more on top of me than usual, like he's ready for me. He still does stupid cpu things: rolling too much, recovering high, random raw smash attacks, that kind of thing. But still.
What do you guys think? Does this seem harder than normal or am I crazy? Could there have been a ghost update in the latest patch that buffed AI; could that footstool combo with Mythra have something to do with it?
I also recently got the 5000 matches milestone and thought maybe the game gets a tiny bit harder after certain points??? I'm starting to think I've gone mental but I've also had consistent experiences with megaman and pikachu as well as falcon. Thanks for your time
