Weird snake recovery

so im messing around with a snake lvl 1 comp me playing as falco, practicing my snake gimps and stuff

so i bair him twice off the edge, he trys to get back but gets caught in the lip of FINAL DESTINATION, but instead of failing and dying, theres a explosion (possibly c4) but its way to quick for snake to have detonated it and theres no sound of snake saying "Now!" snake pulls out his cypher AGAIN and makes it back to the stage.


Any ideas on how this happened?


i saved the replay btw, but cant upload it.

Chances are... he was holding a grenade during his up-B.

snake didnt take any damage, and i as far as i can tell snake didnt have one one him

Uh... was the explosion a C4 or nade explosion. It can't be that hard to tell.

And I'm thinking that it was just a C4 left at the edge of the stage which happened to explode right then.

doesn't the cypher blow up or something? How strong was the explosion, be more specific noob.

didn't this happen before somehow? I thought it was a double foostool and we already figured out everything about double cyphers

Maybe he planted a Dsmash under the lip of the stage.

No really, try to explain it better or get a video.

Thinking about it again I think Fence is right, 99% chance it was a footstool. This causes the cypher to explode (and it deals no damage) and Snake can cypher again.

I thought we cleared all of this up. :'(
