weird snake glitch

so i was playing a cpu on smashville when i planted a c4 right on the edge. at the exact same moment i jumped and snake's jump was three times as high, he went to the upper blast zone, gained one percent and came back down. The replay was longer than 3 minutes (i tried sorry) and i couldn't capture it

When you jumped did you use up+b, sometimes the momentum from snake's jump determines how fast the cypher moves

Yeah, I've found that the cypher auto-sweetspots during some really weird circunstances. The only thing I don't get is how cpu's use their jumps AFTER using the up b. and don't say anything about footstools and stuff, as this happens a lot when you're a great distance from them. And note that they not up-b twice, they up-b and then jump.

I know a Lucas player that does that. I forget what the technique is called but he uses it to harass my Snake when I'm near the top of the screen. It's just one really high jump and he says he cant double jump if he uses this technique.

Maybe the technique he uses and the glitch you did are related?

Its called zapjumping with lucas

But ive never seen snake do something like it.
