Weird online glitch

So I was on For Fun, when I was put in a room, my mii, mii name and tag etc. were all empty. I couldn't choose a character (the select token was missing and pressing B to recall it did nothing) and when I went into the practice stage, all that was shown as P2 and P4 - my slot was "Searching...". There were no characters on the stage, I couldn't visibly interact with anything on the screen (except the exit game menu) and the character icon (for the combo counter) was a blank white square.

What is this? :/

I think I was there, Or it happened to another person, I took a pic of it because I thought it was weird too.

The same thing happened to me, I was pretty miffed that I didn't get to play as Master Hand or something cool like that.

when I got the glitch, all the players were in their correct positions, mine were just blank.

When the match was about to start in the training room, That empty slot was disconnected, then I got disconnected and kicked out o.O
