I was playing the demo, I was Mario vs CPU lvl 1 Link (random) just for fun while watching a livestream... and I picked the gold hammer (dunno the name...) and Mario just bend his back and move without moving his legs, and the hammer dind't hurt Link, lol. Test it if u cant, the default battlefield stage, not omega.

Are you sure it isn't the squeaky golden hammer (It makes squeaky noises every time it hits an opponent and it also does no damage)?
Maybe, but Mario walked weird, and I dind't hear nothing, I got volume up ...
