Did pikachu DI from the strong hitbox of links up b into the weak part of the hitbox??

Nah. A lot of the time when you get hit really up close with Link's up-b, you'll get hit by 2 parts, the strong hit, then a hit that seems like it's Link hitting you with his knee.
