With the stuff brawl central is showing us, I'm not really concerned about the updates any longer. If it's a great update then cool! But if it's a sucky update Brawl central will have learned something new by then and thus it takes the place of the crap update. And with the game coming out on Thursday, the waiting (in terms of information) will finally be over.
Now going back to the TC's points, I have to agree. But I'm not surprised really. They had the perfect mindset from the beginning. From the Iwata interview, Sakurai said that he made the game with the mindset that it would be the last game in the series. Therefore, his mind told him to go all out and aim for the stars. The end result is what we have and we haven't even seen the entire product yet. Rest assured that there are more secret goodies out there. This is what dedication and loving what you do will get you in the long run. You have a chance at a masterpiece if you have the right attitude about it. This is somewhat off the subject, but I compare Sakurai's developers to RPG developers as of late who refuse to include an explorable world map in their games. Chances are I'll remember Sakurai's game for all time. As for the RPGs? Well only one stands out. The rest I don't remember.
