For those who watch the stream (you know, all of you,) there was one thing that kind of bothered me. Maybe I'm being picky, but it seemed like everyone was unlocked pretty easily and straight forward. Beat Classic a million times and then play some verses matches. No exploration. Not trying different modes. Nothing weird. That's not really been how Smash handles things to me. The only reason it took so long for the streamers to unlock ROB is because they were thinking like past games and not sure HOW to go about it.

Love it or hate it, Brawl had a lot going on and a lot of unique ways to unlock stuff. I'm not feeling that for the 3DS version.

Maybe there will be something big for WiiU, and maybe the unlocks should be more focused towards the Mii outfits and trophies, but stages and characters were always a big accomplishment.

You don't even have to play classic. I didn't. A new challenger shows up about every 10 versus matches. I can't figure out the stage unlocks or find a way to turn on team attack though.

That's kind of sad to me. Granted, we all know the Wii U version will be bigger, but I guess I'll have to wait and see when I get the game for myself.

Okay, the only character I know how to unlock was Falco, he is the first new fighter you meet when you play classic mode for the first time.
We already got a couple of them already, but how to unlock we are still not sure, you can also play a lot of matches and get them like previous Smash Bros games.

To be fair, with Brawl and Melee, there were just Versus match unlocks options too. Also, unlock requirements are not 100% clear yet as from Falco and Bowser Jr. (play Classic with Bowser at 7.0)
