Ways to Beat Up Sonic for his shoddy performance.

Hey now, don't get me wrong, back in the day I was a HUGE Sonic. But the Blue Blur is definitely not what he used to be. These days it just seems like we get one horrible game after the other... I am sorry to say... Sega and Sonic Team have become some of the most incompetent and moronic developers in the industry today.

And that leads me into... HOW TO VENT YOUR ANGER ON SONIC'S RECENT PERFORMANCE.

Maybe that's why we're really glad that Sonic's in it.... so we can beat the crap out of him for his shoddy performance over the last few years. So let's see: how do you think you can take your anger out on Sonic for his recent performance?

(Please nobody get too angry with me... it's just there are many people who say Sonic's recent games suck)

Let's see...

1. Take the baseball bat, hit him with it about 20-50 times and then homerun out of the arena.
(That was for giving Shadow his own game!)

or.

2. Hammer him to death.
(That was for that crappy "rebirith" game last year)

That's my ideal beating. What about yours?

Actually, quite the opposite, in my case. I'm really glad he's in so I can use him to make up for his lackluster performance in recent games.

Just think about it.

Sonic. In a game. With good gameplay.

Flawless victory.

Shadow's game was pretty good. Plus, it's good to see Sonic in a game that doesn't suck.

it's not Sonic's fault his games suck now. It's Sega's fault for millking for everything they had. Giving him a childish voice, more and more characters, some of the most lame inventions and mechanics ever, and such. Honestly if they can make F-zero GX look awesome, and play awesome, then why can't they do it with Sonic.

I loved it when he tapped his foot. I think he was the first character to do something when nothing was going on. This is a feature in all games now that we take for granted today. I think this also marked the era of attitude in gaming. "It was like get a move on!" or "Hey, I can do other things too." I was amazed he never ran off the screen.

Besides I reckon Sonic Rush was a very good game and I reckon Sonic and the Secret Rings is the best Sonic game in a decade. Though nowhere as good as the first 4. But then you try and top Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic and Knuckles.

The thing I miss in Sonic games the most though is the old intro. Sonic running through the screen and then we hear SE GA. Then we see an awesome intro. Stupid bright lights these days.

But anyway, Sonic looks to have a really good moveset, and a tricky one at that too, I heard the dash is actually hard to master. But he looks awesome and it's going to be good to see him in probably my most anticipated title to date.

Sonic games are pretty crappy recently. Sonic Rivals had me bored after 5 minutes of playing. Very simple concept: run, jump, run, jump, fall asleep. I don't think I'd beat up Sonic in Brawl to get back at Sega though. That's...dumb.

Yes, I did put the blame on Sega and Sonic Team... didn't I? I called the the more moronic and incompetent companies today.

...Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was probably the best Sonic game ever, including the originals. It was the peak of original Sonic and the newer Gamecube game play both being used together. That should keep you tied over until Brawl, starting from when it first came out ~5 years ago.

(in my opinion) Compared to the originals? No way. Adventure 1 and 2 are the only "recent" great Sonic games certainly, but they're still very unpolished and buggy.

Besides I reckon Sonic Rush was a very good game and I reckon Sonic and the Secret Rings is the best Sonic game in a decade. Though nowhere as good as the first 4. But then you try and top Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic and Knuckles.
*and Sonic CD
Those five were awesome. I ended up beating S3&K with all four character combinations, all with their hyper forms unlocked. So fun!

The thing I miss in Sonic games the most though is the old intro. Sonic running through the screen and then we hear SE GA. Then we see an awesome intro. Stupid bright lights these days.
I loved those intros and the digitized SE-GA voice followed by the awesome classic Sonic music starting up.

Exactly!

Sonic himself isn't horrible, instead it's the games which he stars in.

Sonic is very awesome, there's just no doubt.
Personally I can't wait to try out Sonic, his moves seem very fitting for his character!

P.S.

Does anyone else think that Brawl will get Sonic back on track? The best Sonic games were the plain old "Run in one direction and not die" games and if they were to somehow make a Green Hill Zone-like Adventure mode for Sonic maybe Sega would remember why Sonic became popular. They could make a new Sonic game like the originals but give it 3-D graphics kind of like how Nintendo made New Super Mario Bros.
