I've been practicing the marth matchup recently and I noticed when I shined marth I could nearly always follow up without the Waveshine. i wanted to know which types of DI from Marth require Falco to WD out of shine when you shine Marth in front or behind you. I hope this makes sense and if you need me to clarify please let me know. Thanks boys

Honestly, you should just always WD after you get a shine. If he's on your right, WD out to the right. If he's on your left, WD out to the left. The trick with pillaring him at low percents is to shine DJ FF through dair into shine again. The first one is far and away the hardest to land. Hard DI requires you to WD out, so if the Marth knows you plan on pillaring, then they're almost gonna require you to WD, being why you should. Practicing vs CPUs helps a lot with the punish game.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. There are tons of Falcos in my region so I suppose every Marth would have good DI on shine. Time to start training against 20xx bots!
