Waveshining and Other Techniques?

How do you do them? Well... I know HOW they're done, but I don't know WHAT you do on the controller! I know you have to Shine, Then Wavedash, but How?!?!

Do I jump using X or Y or Joystick?
If I jump with the Joystick, I'd have to re-angle it REALLY fast, I can do it, but is there a better way?

Just tell me what to do ON THE CONTROLLER!!

Basically, what I want to know is, Could I get a BUTTON/JOYSTICK walkthrough for Fox's important techniques.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

if you're just learning id say do it this way:

down+b >>> angle control stick slightly into the level >>>> jump with the Y button and begin to press R a split second after.

If you're learning how to waveshine, don't use the analog stick for the jump. It'll screw you up.

once you have waveshining down, then you'll want to find how to do other techniques, like shl, shdl, drillshining, thunders comboing, multishining, ect...

you know, it doesn't really matter. I can do it will all 4 jump options (control stick, x, y, cstick+shield), normally, i slide from y>bb. it doesn't really matter.
