So I was thinking about what new mind games I can incorporate into my play style and I thought of mixing in sh waveland shines. For instance, I could do something like bait with a laser or two, then hop again making it look like I'm going to laser again but instead waveland into them and shine as a combo starter. It worked alright with my training partner but what do you guys think? In high level play would I just get punished or is it viable?

It'd basically start with an empty hop, which could be punished, I'd be careful about it, otherwise it could work. Make sure to only do it when super safe.

Yeah and it will be pretty easy to read if I do it too much, but so far it seems to be a pretty solid mixup. Also, if they're too far to shine you can waveland into bair, f-tilt, or really anything else. The point is to catch them off guard though so, like I said, probably not worth doing too much.
