wavedashing problem

im kinda new to wavedashing first off i end up doing a shuffle instead of a wavedash how can i fix that also what are some good things to do with fox either out of a wavedash or a shuffle

wave dashing is all about rhythm try listening to more music

eh... hold the control stick in the direction you want to go before you jump, then jump and quickly press L or R... don't jump then jam it in the dirction you want to go in mid air
