Ive noticed ever since I changed my PM version to the Wifi Safe version. I havent been able to WD OoS. Is this because the Wifi version doesnt register Light Shield vs Hard Shield or do I need to practice my tech skill more?

Sorry meant "L/R lightpress and full press" per Project M website....didnt mean to say that there is light shielding.

Yeah that's why, Murdok. The WiFi set makes you air dodge with a lightpress of the triggers, and since you always have to light press before you full press, your old timing has you light pressing a little too early.
You also will have to fully release the trigger after shielding and press it again, rather than just unclicking the full-button press and reclicking it, because the WiFi set registers any degree of the shoulder button depression, including the full-press click, as simply "pressed" or "not pressed", and as with any button, it has to be released before it can be pressed again.

Okay that's what I thought the reason was...I'm switching back to non wifi, just wanted to make sure it wasn't just my timing being off.

Do you have a computer capable of emulating PM in dolphin?
If so you should definitely invest some time into setting up Project M netplay, which is absolutely amazing.
Not terrible at all, not ultra delayed and unreliable like LagFi is.
