Wavedash on Light L bug?

Hi there

My airdodging is activated by a light shield press, rather than a full click of the L or R button. This is an issue, as it means that my airdodges usually come out before I've pressed a direction.

Is this intentional or is this a bug? My friends have said that it only is supposed to occur on full click. If this is not the case, what is causing this to occur?

You must have accidentally downloaded the wifi set instead of the full set... differentiated light and hard presses of L/R, along with buffered inputs out of shield with the c-stick, has been deactivated in the wifi set as they will cause replays and wifi to desync...
