people can give you ideas of how to use it, but melee is a creative game and mostly i recommend developing a deep understanding of the mechanics involved so that you can creatively use them.

i wrote this as part of a guide to teach players how to wavedash, BUT even if you know how to perform the technique, i think there's some useful information there about how and why it works that can springboard ideas on how to use it.

You have to implement it into your game yourself, no one can tell you strictly how to use it, I mean there are a few guidelines, but nothing specific.
