Which do you find is the better controller to play with? I have a Wavebird now but I want to get one more. But man these things are hard to find. So I may just go with a regular GC controller with Brawl. How about you guys?

I have a hard time not using cordless controllers. Nothing to get in the way, ever. It's great. My wavebird has lasted me the last several years and will be what I use for Brawl without question. I love the thing.

I actually have absolutely no intention of using any sort of GameCube controller for Brawl. I'll take sexy new Wii controls over recycled Cube controls any day of the week. Besides, plugging in a GCN controller of any sort would instantly make the Wii look less gorgeous, and I just can't stand for that.

I'll mainly use my Wavebird. I hate the corded controllers because I either kept tripping over them or whenever I wanted to relax on the couch, I couldn't be cause the dang cord didn't reach that far.

The Wavebird is kind of big for me, so I stick with my normal GC controller, some people tell me to use the wavebird though. Also I don't really want to use that many batteries for a controller.

Im gonna use both, maybe not a wavebird though unless i get a new one because my current one usually acts weird. Some how the C-stick is stuck up a little and I do smash attacks when I don't want to. I prefer the GC controller more reliable to me.

I've heard that WaveBirds aren't tournament legal for Melee now. If this is the case, will they be legal for Brawl?

If they are legal, then I might use a WaveBird.

IMO the Wavebird is better than the corded GC controller, only downsides are that it doesn't have rumble and that u have to change the batteries

Yeah, I was never really a part of the tournament scene with melee, but probably will be for Brawl. I don't want a Wavebird getting in the way of that.

I just need a new GC controller because my c-stick is starting to have seizures and my control stick has a lot of slack.

I used my old wavebird so long that the head of the control stick literally wore off. I got new ones off ebay, you can find brand news ones for like...30$
