Wavebird no longer shipping to stores

What are your thoughts and comments on this? I'm not really disappointed because I already own a Platinum Wavebird. I feel that it was wrong of Nintendo to discontinue the Wavebirds because the Wavebirds can still work with the Wii and would be perfect for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

heck I didn't even know they were still selling regular controllers. I i don't even see those being sold in stores anymore.
