Wavebird Dual Receiver Question

If you don't know already, it is possible to syncronize one wavebird controller to two wavebird receivers, so I just want to ask a silly question about that. It is possible to plug in a wavebird receiver and another wavebird reciever in the gamecube ports. Logically speaking this would be an obvious "yes" but in all of the pictures it looks as if one receiver would cover all of the ports, so a word of reassurance that two wavebirds can be plugged into one gamecube/adapter would be appreciated.

You can plug in as many as four. In that pic, the adapter is laying sideways.

Okay, great to know. I was just trying to make sure before potentially purchasing two wavebirds lol

On a side note thanks for responding so quickly, I always end up being amazed by how fast people on smashboards respond to new threads/questions, its really great.
