Hi, i'm new in the community and I was wondering, can i do wavedash and all types of adv. tech with a wavebird controller? because a friend of mine told me once the controller had some kind of "lag" and make it more hard.

Input lag will make it harder. I don't think there's enough to make much of a difference. I've played on 1 during my 1st 1.5 years of playing competitively

I don't think the input lag would be too distracting, it's just one of those things you get used to until it's barely noticeable.

When I go right from a wired controller to a Wavebird I notice a difference, but after a lot of use I get used to it and I'm able to adapt. Sure, I personally much prefer a wired controller, but I've been in situations with friends where I've had no option and it worked out fine in the end.
