So I play mainly Sheik and a little Marth and I've decided to try and learn a little fox, but I'm not sure about his basic play. For example Sheik involves a lot of F tilts and Marth a lot of Uptilts when juggling spacies; what should I do as fox to rack up some damage at low percentages and then how should I finish other than upsmash and upair? Also side note if I want to upair after a short hop to land a kill should I use c stick? I cant seem to not double jump by accident when using A button and analog stick

fox is weird he has some bread and butters against specific characters but they aren't really super uniform.
Things to learn
(take with some salt cuz I might be missing characters some of these things work on)

Shine into upsmash(Mario, doc, shiek, falcon, ganon etc)
wave shining ( Shiek falcon ganon etc)
up throw up smash (FF such as fox and falco at low percent and at high percent when they try to di away)
Chain grab (Falcon fox and falco)
Up throw up air (Ganon shiek puff marth) (fox falco and falcon at high percent)

learn how to pressure and space as well those are invaluable tools also if you're on the campier side I'd suggest learning retreating double lasers

To rack up damage safely, you can spam lasers from afar. So
learn to SHL and SHDL. Also DD and circle jump to bait a whiff and the JC grab > up throw > up air/smash.

Learn to shield pressure with shine > shffl drill/nair. Shine grab is great too.

Drill shine > WD > up smash vs Peach, Link, CF, etc.
And Drill shine > WD > Dash > JC grab > up throw > up air vs Sheik, Marth, Ganon, etc.

Bair is also a great spacing move and kill move.

Yeah use c-stick.

Thanks, I'll practice some of that stuff. It seems a little advanced for me (I really don'y play spacies much) but I will work on the stuff I think I can get easily then go to the harder. SHL seems necessary, I'll make that a priority. Thanks for the reply

My pleasure ^^
Fox has an unreachable tech ceiling so if you want to work on your dexterity then Fox will always keep you busy.
