Hello, want to have a VERY slim chance of Fatal Frame for Wii U getting localized? Here's how to do it:

1: Click this thread link

2: Go to Step 3

Step 3 Copy and paste the below link:

https://www.change.org/en-AU/petiti...ze-and-release-fatal-frame-on-wii-u-worldwide

4: Sign up

Personally I'm not signing up because if the 4th game, Fatal Frame 1's Remake and Fatal Frame 2's remake didn't make it to America, I say **** it, I'll let everybody else do the work. What IS Fatal Frame? Fatal Frame is one of the last horror game series that didn't turn into a Zombie Shoot Em Up series, the stories are great, the graphics are perfect for the atmosphere and there's no music to add to the creepiness of the whole thing.

This may seem like a spam thread, but I genuinely want this game to be localized for a few reasons: The Wii U's 3rd Party Support is pure ****, it's mostly inferior ports of 360/One, PS3/PS4 games or piss poor original titles like Party Games 30 Great Games for Wii U (Please note that "Great" is part of the title) and if this game sells well despite being a 3rd Party game on a Nintendo system, it might make the other 3rd Parties want to make exclusives for the system.

So again, I have no confidence in this petition, but I still want it to succeed.

Isn't Nintendo publishing this one? I could see it making it over here (or at least Europe) if that's the case.

or did they publish the others that ended up on nintendo consoles too

They pubished Fatal Frame 4, Fatal Frame 2's remake (Which made it everywhere BUT the country everyone loves to play games in the most), the ****ty spin off on the 3DS (Which somehow made it outside of Japan) and now this one. Again, I have no hope for this game's localization, North American or others.

But again to those Fatal Frame fans, if you want to make a difference, sign up for the campaign

Edit: I understand Nintendo isn't affected by petitions, but a slim chance is better then none right? Warning, if you are going to sign up it requires personal information, so use a proxy email

Oh for **** sakes! Stop making these petitions for games that are likely to come over anyway!! All it does is make it look like there are fewer sales than there actually are. 10k means nothing compared to localizing a Fatal Frame game, they can get a hell of a bunch more just from putting it in a Nintendo Direct, all this petition will do is make Nintendo look at the numbers, see they're tiny, and question the value of bringing the game over.

Our feet have enough bullet holes, stop shooting them more!

Hey, I didn't make this petition, I only put it up for the idiots who think it will work

I didn't mean to insinuate you, it was more a general statement. No offense meant, just I get annoyed at all these thing... though that's probably because I'm a DQ fan, and the various petitions have always made the fanbase look much smaller than it is (partially because the core DQ fanbase tends to be older)... I guess I'm just more negative about these things than most.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Though to be fair they would sell alot more copies of games if they charged less for them, games use to be $40...

What are they now?

*is british*

I find that games aren't that much different in the UK, the RRP has gone up £10, but thanks to online shopping you can buy games day 1 at least £5 below that so it's really not much of an increase (35 to 40)... I think it helps that our market really increased last gen driving down necessary profit margins to off-set the price rises somewhat.

Ahh, you're british, time to learn about American Currency!

Games use to cost 40 in Dollars/$, in British Pounds that would be 23.56 Pounds (Sorry, no pound symbols on American PCs without ****ing about)

Overtime it increased to $60 which ='s 35.34 Pounds. I understand in the 90's that some games (such as a piece of **** called Phantasy Star 3) cost as much as $100 which equals 58.90 Pounds, just a little fun fact that the 90's isn't as good as most people remember when some games cost $100/58.90 Pounds.

Handheld games now cost $40/23.56 Pounds, which is still crazy

Holy hell your handhelds are cheap!!!

The're £35 RRP here, though again you can buy them at 30, but that's still a chunk more than you. Our console releases are a bit closer at least, I can live with less than a fiver on a £40 purchase, but you getting a handheld game nearly a quarter cheaper is saddening.

They are cheap, but you gotta consider whether or not the game is the type of game you'd want to play while you're out, PSVita for example CAN play console quality games, but not only are there no games for it, but the games require way too much attention to be portable

Yeah, tell me 'bout it! The bigger problem I find is the battery life on Vita, but really the console's too powerful for it's own good, developers didn't treat it like a handheld...

I do like it for the Atelier plus games though, and do play Project Diva on it too every once in a while, but some of it's best games like Muramasa, Gravity Rush, Freedom Wars and even Danganronpa (though that one's for narrative reasons) are barely playable on the move...

That's why I prefer my 3DS!

Not surprising really...

Either way, were getting way off-topic. Fatal Frame is great and I want to see it come over. With Nintendo Direct promotion, the movie and Camera controls I could see it becoming a break-away hit for the series, and since KT actually listen to their fans I think it's reasonably likely to happen, assuming the game isn't slated critically in Japan like the last one of course...

I find it hard to believe Nintendo owns the rights to such a scary series, I played the second game and I'm not kidding, I nearly **** my pants and I had to have the volume REALLY low
