Wallshine Infinite Against Shine Fallers

Impossible you say? difficult, but not impossible. I got the combo counter up to 8 against a falco using only shines and a wall.

I noticed that for any character, if they are lying on the ground and you shine them, they slide and have shine stun time. Even if they normally fall to the shine, they slide if they've already fallen and missed a tech.
Now, in this stun time, they can be hit by another shine, and they won't fall to that one either, creating the potential for infinites.

There are two catches:
1. They have to be on the ground (w/ a missed tech) against a wall
2. The stun time is extremely short.

The solution:
1. Here's the mental hard part, getting them to miss a tech near a wall. The shine does a good job of this. Just start with a drillshine against the wall and hope they miss the tech.
2. Here's the technical hard part. You need to multishine.

Here's a vid of what it looks like:

Note that the practicality here is kind of low, I just wanted to share that this is, in fact, an infinite shine combo on shinefallers.

Edit: 1337 Post! (post # 1337)

you can just sh drillshine into a wall. This is fairly hard to tech once they are on the ground.

I didn't say this is the most practical way to do it, i prefer nairshines, but this way combos and you can't tech it.

With JC shines Fox doesn't move, the only possible way you could tech out of it is to get behind them (which is what you do in the waveshine infinite against the wall). Seeing how multishines are really fast, I highly doubt youc an smash DI to get behind the shine in time.

No, i'm not very good at multishining, i usually can only get around 8 @ a rate that ppl can't spot dodge out of. I slide from y>b then lift from b>y.

You're sure you can't tech this with Smash DI?
You can't tech it, you're not falling.

Actually, the rapidity (that's not a word btw) of the multishine makes it easier to escape w/ SDI than a waveshine, since there is more hit lag in any amount of time (making rapid jerks on the control stick will be MORE effective). Still not easy to do though (harder than a drillshine).

Yeah, the hits of the drillshine serve the same purpose as the jab in Thunder's combo. It'll make them stand up, then you shine again.

True they can tech, but on a place like Pokemon or even Peach's castle - if they tech on spot they get hit in the face again, and if they tech roll behind you, you can always tech chase with something. Meh, it's situational.

Anyways, I can't make it to any major tournaments. I don't have the money or adequate arrangements as far as housing or travel partners go. I'm sorry to say that all you will have of me are my ****ty old videos and my posts :(

Eggz actually called me up and asked me to be his doubles partner because Jumpfreak backed out or something. It was hard to break the news that I wasn't going, especially since Eggz is my hot luva-luva.
