Every time I fight a CPU and I smash them upward at an angle and they crash into a wall, they do this "thing" where they completely cancel all of their momentum and just stop right at the wall, even when I hit them so hard that they should have bounced right off the wall and up into a star KO. How do they do this? I assume they're not "cheating" but they're using some sort of "wall cancel" that I don't know about, and doing it with perfect timing?
I wasn't able to find anything about this on google because I don't know what it's called. They're not doing a wall jump or wall cling, every CPU character can do it, it's instant, and it completely stops their movement
