If PT fights from the background, how are his 'break the targets' and 'board the platforms' going to work? And what about on the TP bridge level, how will he follow his pokemon from the background?

He stays in one spot the whole match. Not nessescarily the middle either.

There have been many discussion on this, especially in moving stages. Some say he "might" board a floating platform or pidgey, and will most likely run along the side of the stage to stay with the Pokemon. And for break the targets you'll most likely have to switch pokemon to get different targets.

I bet a sort of "respawn platform" will be there for Red to stand on and watch the battle where he can't reach. They could also perhaps make him fly on a Flying type Pokemon of sorts? Pidgeot maybe? I don't think it's that much of a problem...

He doesn't stay in one spot it seems.
He stands in the backround, just like when you dodge behind a character in Melee, so Eldin Bridge would be no different.
He'll probably follow his Pokemon and jump and things. In Break The Targets, he'll just move on the bottom platform.
If you get knocked off the edge, he's not going to jump after you, he's just going to watch you fly off.


I'm not sure why people get confused about this stuff.

I would be in favor of him riding a Pidgeot or something. I certainly hope he does move, in all his screenshots he stays in the same spot. Sakurai will think of something.

Actually, In Jungle Japes he's in the middle of the stage I think, whereas in Pokemon Stadium, he's in the corner.

Maybe he won't move, but he probably will. The reason why he stays in the same spot in the screenshot is because:

In more than 1 pokemon stadium picture he is in the same location. I mean there's a set location for each level probably. I wonder how his adventure mode will work.
