This a poll to sort of generalize what the top sets COULD BE, not what the top sets ARE. Basically, to help finalize the list of customs to be used in the Customs project or whatever.

That being said, vote for TEN in the poll ;3

Neutral Specials:

1 - Pocket
2 - Garden
3 - Pocket Plus

Side Specials:

1 - Lloid Rocket
2 - Liftoff Lloid
3 - Pushy Lloid

Up Specials:

1 - Balloon Trip
2 - Extreme Balloon Trip
3 - Balloon High Jump

Down Specials:

1 - Timber
2 - Timber Counter
3 - Super Timber

So how's this gonna work when we get the results? Are we just gonna take the top 10? I think it might be smarter to take the top 4 or 5 out and then have another vote. I really felt limited in only being able to vote for 3 out of 15.

I'll change it to choose 10 then
So everyone has their 'top 10' list, and we choose the most popular out of those top 10 :3

If you have already voted for only 3, you can use your post to post the other 7, and we will count those as well =D

Cuz I dont think you can delete votes

But Im a scrub so idk

May I ask if extreme balloon jump is any useful, or any of the up-B customs?

Extreme balloon jump is just worse in every single respect. It doesn't have the flexibility of default balloon trip, and doesn't have the gimp guard power of the explosive one. It's the worst of both worlds and makes Villager recover like a lot of other characters while his recovery is one thing that sets him apart.

There should be no reason why both anti ness sets include pushy lloid.

Uh?
Extreme Balloon Trip is the explosive one...

From experience, I've concluded that pushy Llyod is better vs Ness because he can't really reflect it back at your due to it's limited range.
But of course that's my preference and shouldn't reflect the Villager community as a whole.
If anyone wants 3122 or anything similar, please feel free to state your case.

Just out curiosity is there any benefit to Super Timber over Timber? I know it's one of those classic custom move modifications (takes longer to perform but does more damage) but is it seen as a viable option? I've heard that it has some uses in the doubles scene and on certain MUs (Megaman is the only one I've seen) the improved watering can can gimp.

It's his least viable tree move in 1v1, but it does have its use in doubles. Not that it's a bad move, but the poor frames on it isn't worth it, considering default timber is already a good kill option.
But I would like to see more people use Super Timber's watering can, could have great gimp potential on a good portion of the cast.

I just tried it out, and it has incredible gimping ability. As of right now, my doubles set is 1323.
