Viva La Bam was a reality television series which starred Bam Margera and his crew. The show was a spin-off from MTV's Jack*ss, in which Margera and members of CKY appeared. The Each episode would have a theme, mission, or challenge which would normally be accomplished by performing pranks, skateboarding, and enlisting the help of friends, relatives and experts. Although styled as improvised, the show was supported by a greater degree of scripting and organisation than previous Margera projects.

The core of the crew comprised Ryan Dunn, Brandon DiCamillo, Chris Raab (credited as "Raab Himself") and Rake Yohn (real name Ted Webb). The show also starred Margera's parents Phil & April and his uncle Vincent Margera, known as "Don Vito." The show was mostly filmed in and around West Chester, Pennsylvania and also visited New Orleans, Los Angeles, Mexico, Brazil and Europe. Bam and his crew also went to spring break in 2006 for Viva La Spring Break. It debuted on October 26, 2003 on the MTV network in the United States and was later licensed around the world. Each of the 5 seasons consisted of eight half-hour episodes, with the fifth and final season finishing on August 14, 2005.

Working titles for the show included Kiss a Good Man's *** (now the reported title of the sequel to Haggard), Bam N' Friends, and BaMTV.

The show's main title theme is a section of "The King Of Rock N' Roll," by Finnish musician and HIM guitarist Daniel Lioneye.

In December of 2005, Bam addressed rumors of a sixth season on Last Call with Carson Daly. His comment was that there would be no sixth season, but there would be occasional MTV specials and he and Johnny Knoxville were planning things for possible ******* stunts.

My favorite character is Don Vito (www.Myspace.com/theonlyrealdonvito) and my favorite episodes are:

Vito's Revenge
When Don Vito has had enough of Bam's pranks, he enlists Mike Vallely to help seek revenge.

CKY Gets Jobs
On this episode Bam and his friends(including Don Vito) get jobs so they can pay the heating bill or clean like April. Since Brandon got a ticket for parking in a wrong spot with a rickshaw, they lost. (The part when Dico drives the towtruck is funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yinVOokCxN8 )

You give that show WAY too much credit. It was about as real as any other scripted show. Bam was paid to destroy his house in elaborate ways, all of which were set up before hand, and MTV would cover the repairs if need be. Anything outside of the compound was set up before as well. Bam came off as a douche bag in nearly all the stuff on the show. The only time someone got the better of him was when he and Knoxville (who is talented and not a trash) had a prank war, and Bam wouldn't admit Knoxville destroyed him.

Vito is a pedophile. That's why his scenes were completely cut from the Jackass 2 movie. He groped a 14 year old at an autograph signing.

This show just proves that MTV is to music as a wall off falling bricks is to a car, a catastrophe.
