Visually enhanced shields

Wouldn't it be great if some more characters would have a special visual, not gameplay changing version of their shield, like Yoshi. (Or is Yoshis shield different?)

For example, Mewtwo's shield would be his glowing energy sphere.

I can't figure out more shields right now. Maybe you have some ideas?

I remember in Brawl there was a mod called "Colored Shields" which made the shields a lot more vibrant and transparent.

Do some characters have some special "perfect shield" animation? Because when you do a perfect shield with Ryu, he does some kind of special block. Do other characters do this?

Yoshi's shield is different because its size never changes, making shield pokes impossible.

I like the idea, but I don't know... seems too much of an eyesore to me...

Only Ryu has a special animation for perfect shielding. Comes from SFIII's parry

He just does his SF3 parry animation and no, it offers no difference; it's purely aesthetic.

When kirby shields, he goes into his guard animation from kirby and the amazing mirror(this may be the wrong game; correct me if i'm wrong). No difference otherwise, like ryu, this is just aesthetic.

All characters have guard animations (except Yoshi because egg) when sheilding.

What made Ryu stand out and seem different is the parry sound effect from SF3 being heard when he perfect sheilds.

I don't recall Amazing Mirror even having a guard function, so I'm pretty sure it's from Superstar/Ultra

Besides, as the previous post said, all characters have shield animations, Ryu just has a special perfect shield animation.

It's Super Star.

The sheild bubble itself works a lot like the Mirror ability in this game.

I always thought it was a missed opportunity that Rosalina doesn't use the energy bubble that the Cosmic Spirit does in Galaxy 2 when you try to jump on it. It'd be cool if Lucario made a shield out of Aura, too.
