8 Steps anyone can take to go from a complete novice to a competent Smash player. I hope veterans can also find some interesting information about ways to step up their game as well!
Most of you may not know of me especially if you are newschool (Smash 4 Generation). My name's Lade, I was formerly known as RedHalberd, Fresh Die Nasty, and Holidaze. As RedHalberd I was the 2nd ranked Brawl player in Florida for several years. I was also the best Melee and Smash 64 player in my city, and I was 2nd in Umvc3 for a while as well. When Smash 4 came out I went under the tag Fresh Die Nasty for a while but eventually stopped competing due to work and health issues.

Anyway, I don't play the game as hardcore as I used to, but one thing I do try to do my best at is helping new players and making sure that my region continues to grow. Generally I give out advice in person but I recently decided to take my youtube channel more seriously. I'm going to release tutorial videos on various aspects of Smash regularly. I'm relatively unknown in the Smash 4 scene but I hope you will come to trust me as a reliable source of information regarding matchups, game mechanics, and smarts game. This is my first video that I've decided to go all out with the production so I hope you guys like it.

Please let me know things you like and dislike so I can further cater videos to the audience of newer Smash players. I believe I have a lot I can offer if you would like to give me a chance. Thank you in advance :)

Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I attended my first tournament today and watched some of my replays beforehand like you suggested to have some weaknesses to look out for while playing. Definitely helped
