Video Editing Programs

We have videos that are in the .Mov format and we need a video editing software that is compatible. Please help.

You'll need to convert the movies to other file types.

I use http://download1.pegasys-inc.com/download_files/TMPGEnc-2.524.63.181-Free.zip for file conversions usually. But it may not do what you want, so I suggest googling around for video converters that can help you.

And another tip, if you're going to be working with Windows Movie Maker, it is easier to conver the files to .WMV, you'll have less problems in Movie Maker that way.

that's what my friend and i figured, that we had to convert it. thanks for the tips, they did help. i'll go look around for some more video converters or file converters in general

i know of a decent file converter called ImToo mpeg converter. its worked well for me in the past.
