Upload "serious matches" where you are losing or where it's not too one-sided. That way, critiquing will be easier.

All I see is generic Marth play that doesn't need building upon...

But um, don't stand still against a Falco. <_<

I understand trying to be defensive, which is common in MarthvsFalco, but that Falco was kinda...terrible. He tried to recover the same way every time. Also, after u-tilting a falco, you have so many options while he's hanging in the air vulnerable but you just stood there. Long story short, upload a better match for critiquing.

You guys are being kind've harsh, good teching and spiking. He was a bit worse then you though, go head to head with a player of your skill level and post it here.

It's already been said but I'll say it again so that hopefully you practice it: Practice your chain grab.

Over all you have a decent marth but I believe (like everybody else) that the person you played isn't quite at your level and you should upload more videos when he is better or against a better person.

I would also advise the Falco to recover with side-b instead of falling for the dair spike all the time and to learn to Short Hop Dair into Shine(learn to repeat it after too) and to waveshine.

Falcon kick.
I'll attempt at critiquing though you should have a more serious match. I don't know whether you were screwing around or not or just using as an excuse. Please try not to take anything I say offensively, I'm not trying to belittle you I can just go on anonymous websites to do that where I wouldn't get in trouble and just trying to help out.

Even though you weren't serious right at the start of the Match at 00:16 you U-Throw into nothingness. This is usually where Falco is completely boned, however you did nothing. You have the obvious option of just grabbing again or you can go with the safer of two methods either up tilting OR shffle U-Air.

Almost immediately after as well you show a bit of a lack of keeping the control stick stable by doing an unneeded Dash attack when I know you meant to F smash.

In general it doesn't look like you're getting the concept of not getting hit and you run into Falco a bit too much (God he needs to do the same, you are way above your friend, he missed the entire point). Your attacks seem a little undirected to and seem more of a guessing game instead of prediction. Marth kills Falco REALLY easy and this Falco didn't even use retreating lasers ( or at least very well) so spacing yourself for an easy kill shouldn't have been a problem at any point. It seems like you're to be to flashy and quick instead of precise. My friend would have KILLED me for a lot of that stuff.
Here's a quick tip to help you get better. You have a lot to work with you know the timing on things and you have the tech to be good.
Cut out the extraneous things. In fact play your friends only using a few attacks. See if you can play a game almost simply out of F Smashes. This will improve your mindgames by a large margin. After you do that and think you have reached a proficient level, work on combining your tech. Right now it isn't doing much for you. It needs a point. When you play pros they get a kick out of just using one move on people because they(not the pro, as in the person fighting them) haven't trained themselves properly to know WHY these tactics exist. When you are playing and you mess up a tech, complaining about it won't help; find out WHY. Be CONSCIOUS of what you are doing so you are able to fix it. If you are pressing a button to early tell yourself to stop it.
