I'm running the game on my Wii, using the Homebrew method.

Whenever I win a match, and sit on the Victory screen too long, the music becomes loud static after it loops a few times with no problems.

Because Defragging an SD card is bad for it.

And because getting someone to format and reinstall before they report a bug solves a lot of problems.

How is it "bad for it"? I've defragged my SD cards multiple times and have had only success.

Automatic (software) defragmentation of flash memory is bad for the sd card as it shortens the lifespan, or so I've heard, even if it fixes the issue.
Manual defragmentation, which is nothing more than taking all the files off and putting them back on, is "safer."

Formatting, defragmenting, they both fix the issue 90% of the time in the end.
