Viability of hazardless stages in doubles.

So it might be too much of a hassle for singles but in doubles the most you would have to do is SD with 1 character. The biggest issue I could see people bringing up is having a fifth controller for every station.

Problem is solved already. Every station needs some sort of wireless controller (gamepad, pro, etc.) to launch the game from the home menu, meaning every console already has a fifth controller on standby. There are some great stages that would be wonderful for doubles. Do you guys think the extra effort is worth having a few more stages to pick from?

Great point. I might consider doing this at my next tourney.

As long as people could bring a wiimote for each setup that's always setup, it shouldn't be an issue. Everyone has a wiimote.

Not even, man. The game pad itself or whatever controller is being used to navigate the menus.
