Vet time? (Not an animal vet, don't be silly)

I searched but didn't see this already, and I decided it doesn't belong in Character Discussion, because it's really more Dojo-esque news (youko needs a word for dojo-related junk, if you're reading), but has anyone else noticed that there are now (since Olimar, not the update today) exactly the same number of vets and newcomers?

I'm not trying to cause board-wide pandamonium here (well, maybe a little bit), but does anyone else think this is the appropriate time for Sakurai to release another vet? I'm not trying to be one of those stupid people mis-thinking about new updates, and I'm not even sure how I arrived at that conclusion, but yeah. I mean, how cool would it be, to get an update telling us that we still get our shiek or captain f? I'm not expecting it anytime soon (and the more I write here, the less I expect it at all), because Sakurai doesn't do more than one good thing per week (not burning Sakurai, it's just his way), but maybe next week, or two from now, a new vet (wow that's an oxymoron, huh?).

Anyway, this has gone on too much and my fingers hurt from my Sonic+Light Speed+Really Really Fast=typing speed, so I'm gonna let you people throw your thoughts out.

PS, the point of this is for you to tell me what you think, in case you missed it, not saying you're stupid, just yep

If Charizard's up b is confirmed as Air Slash, then we'll know that the Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Ness, and Luigi are all unlockables. Otherwise, I agree with you.

well, now that corocoro has released zelda's special moves, i think it's very possible for them to be shown on the dojo tonight. if you recall, he did the same thing when donkey kong was shown at E3.

I think it was PT and Peach.

On topic now. I'm hoping Falco will be announce, because a lot of the other ones are obvious. I know its very doubtful he'll be updated next.

also, there is no way there's ness. everyone hates clones. not that he is a clone, but then lucas would be. i guess he kinda sorta is anyway, but i hate roster clutter. not both of them in the same game, please.

There has been a guy on gamespot called thealmightygoat who 'leaked' some info. Two pieces of info was Charizard's up-b and the fact that the 4 secret characters on SSB64 would return as secret characters. WaterToFire was merely stating that if Charizard's remaining special move is confirmed, like Squirtle's and Ivysaur's have been from the CoroCoro cards, then thealmightygoat is probably a cretible source with correct information.

Since these are the last few weeks of updates before Brawl's release, I think we'll be getting important updates more consistently.
More character/stage focus/game mode focus. Less items, music (unless in a double update), and other bs. Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up, but if there was any time for Sakurai to go all out and drop a bomb of epic updates on us, this would be the time.

Well I think this is the last chance to hype people up for the game so he's dropping bombs now. I mean, c'mon, Olimar coming was a turning point in hype. Before we were like, "Oh, a week's worth of stages... Still no character, so I guess it's ok......" Now I'm going to be hyped up aboutmost updates. Notice how many characters don't have their special move updates? That'll probably be a big filler for one week.

Anyway, I think we'll be getting Shiek soon. To the guy who said that there will be no more character updates, after Olimar do you really think Sakurai'll stop?

I wouldn't be surprised if he revealed Sheik by next Wednesday. I'm not going to expect three character updates in a row (Snake's FS and Zelda's FS would be considered character updates).

I'm hoping for an Assist Trophy or a Boss update that deconfirms someone. (Although, hopefully it's not Ridley :D)

They'll probably show Sheik/whatever Zelda transforms into next week, and possibly Captain Falcon after that (wouldn't that be a nice double update for the 'hey, the game is out in Japan now' notice?)

I'm still not convinced that Falcon will be secret, based ENTIRELY on Samurai Goroh and all the F-Zero trophies we've seen.

Sheik is almost certainly coming soon since they told CoroCoro about her. Who knows about Captain Falcon. I'm sure the starting roster will be on the Dojo by the time the game is out.
