They fit the criteria pretty well, and they've got alot of options for movesets. It's a shame that it seems that the(vastly inferior) EXE. series is more popular. My only real gripe with ZX was that god-awful map. Anyway, enough of the rant, time for the MOVESET!

Vent/Aile have so many options for movesets that it's not even funny. With all those live metals and such. I'll probably end up coming up with another one at some point.

This moveset is one that I've previously posted on GameFAQs. It just never got noticed there *cry*

First of all, Vent would be the standard colour, and Aile would be an alt. costume.(actually, it should be the other way around... Aile is more important storywise...).

Anyway, here we go.

V/A would be middle weight. Normally, they'd be in their ZX form. Fast run speed Medium jump hight and speed. Slightly floaty. Good traction. Note that, for all attacks with the ZX saber, unless they hit with the very tip, the enemy will have low knockback.

Moveset:

B: ZX buster fires a shot from the ZX buster. Hold to charge. Similar to Samus' charge shot, only it moves faster and is weaker, with less knockback. Standard shots are like pellet versions of Falco's blaster, except they are slower.
^B: HX rush Transforms(NOTE: transformation time for all moves involving transformation is near instant, transforms back to ZX at the end of the move) into model HX and dashes diagonally upwards, with beam swords held out. Knocks enemy upwards. Counts as a recovery move.
vB: LX frost Transforms into model LX and creates a platform of ice. This platform can be walked on, and has lowered traction. If the platform is hit with an attack, it will turn into an ice dragon and fly in the direction of the knockback of the attack that hit it.
>B: PX pike Transforms into model PX, and dashes forward with a shruikun. If it comes in contact with an enemy, V/A will knock them to the ground and strike(impale) them with the shruikun. Teleport back afterwords. If it hits an airborne enemy, the strike counts as a spike.

>Smash Forward vertical slash with the ZX saber. Knocks enemies forward at a low trajectory.
^Smash Transforms into model HX and does an upward slash with both swords, crossing them over his body, and bringing them down to his side. If the enemy is right above when doing the attack, it will result in 2 hits, but less knockback. Knocks upwards.
vSmash Transforms into model FX, and slams cannons into the ground, fires a blast, and creates a shockwave. Knocks enemies upwards diagonally.

neutral A Right hook. Very low knockback, slight stun.
neutral A,A Roundhouse kick.
>tilt Horizontal slash with ZX saber
^tilt Upward verticall slash with the ZX saber. Knocks enemies upwards, with angle depending on which part of the ZX saber hit.
vtiltlow spin kick. Similar to CF's and Ganon's vtilts.
dash attack dashes forward, doing damage with body. Knocks enemy diagonally backwards.

Nair Sex kick.
Fair Two handed diagonal slash with the ZX saber(from left shoulder to right hip) with very little knockback, followed by a knee smash with the left knee with forward knockback. However, if the enemy is just behind V/A and right at the hip when the slash ends, they will be spiked.
Bair Backwards kick.
Uair Vertical slash upwards.
Dair Transforms into model PX, and throws a shruikun tied to a chain downwards(about the length of link's grapple). If it hits with the shruikun, it counts as a meteor smash. If it hits with the chain, the opponent is sent upwards, and the attack does less damage.

Final Smash: Live Metal Burst
Transforms into human form, as and all live metals surround V/A. Each one transforms into their Reploid Counterpart(Z=Zero, X=X, P=Phantom, H=Harupia, L=Leviathan, F=Fefnir), attacking the target. It starts with Fefnir grabbing the target and then throws them forward, and then Phantom impales them with a (real) pike from above, knocking them to the ground. Harupia then attacks with a red lightning bolt, and Leviathan follows up with an icey dragon to freeze the target. Zero dashes in and executes a Z Saber combo while X charges his buster. After Zero finishes his combo and disappears, X fires a full powered buster shot.

I'm more of a Zero fan myself, but Vent/Aile are newer and all. I guess Ash and Grey would be more appropriate though...

I wouldn't mind classic Megaman either. So long as it wasn't .EXE or Starforce. Also, V/A have much more open move options. Megaman has his subweapons, but they just don't strike me as getting the job done well enough.

The only good Megaman is a fast-paced sidescrolling Megaman!

classic or X need to be in morwe than thses guys, after X all the games were garbage.
I take it you never played the Zero series? It took everything that was good about the X series, took out all the bad, and added a good story to it. 3 and 4 had a somewhat stale level design compared to the first one, but it still takes itself leaps and bounds above most other Megaman games. It's 2D sidescrolling at its best.

And the story is probably the best one seen in a Megaman game. The ending(yes, I know, a megaman series with a confirmed ending!??!) is so well done(He's dead, get over it). Unlike the X series, the Zero series did not dig itself into a hole. It follows after X5(the intended end, before capcom decided to milk the hell out of it), and is essentially a better continuation of the X series... starring Zero...
