Remove the Mii restriction!
Let players use ALL characters to their potential unless warranted - that is the competitive creed!

1111 is the tournament standard in Vegas.
Also, it's the tournament standard for Genesis 3.

I didn't catch the news on Genesis, I was waiting to hear about if they were going to allow me to play my character before registering. Guess I'll wait for an appeal.
What was the reasoning for the restriction on the characters?

I have been looking into attending a Vegas event if given the opportunity, but obviously restrictions on playing one of my characters is going to be a factor in returning.

From what I understand you are one of the TO's for Genesis 3. To say that you are making this ruling a standard for Vegas due to Genesis (or vice versa) is circular logic, it's the same as saying "I am doing this because I am doing this".

The creed for competitive rulings follow that all out-of-game rulings must be born of sound reasoning derived by logical consequence from our principles (that which makes the foundation of competition). If the Mii fighters violate a competitive principle, by all means, just state which violation and it should be graciously accepted by all of us competitors whether we play Mii or not. However, if there is no sound reasoning then there is no warrant to issue a restriction and the ruling should be lifted (or at the very least it should be negotiated to a middle ground the community can agree to okay).

Not only do I eagerly await a professionally prompt response regarding the event rulings, but every Mii fighter player is as well.

Hi T0MMY T0MMY ! 1111 is indeed the standard in Vegas, even before Genesis 3 was announced. The reasoning for this standard is, honestly, non-existent, outside of following what the nearest neighbor (SoCal) does, really. Personally, I would like to see some more exploration of the characters' movesets, since unlike most of the cast, Mii custom moves come unlocked out of the box, eliminating the logistics issue of getting everything unlocked through a grind. Unfortunately, with the upcoming tournament happening in under a month, I don't see the rules changing in time for this, if at all, but we'll see what happens in the future, I suppose.
