VA University Scenes?

So I'm getting closer to getting my associates and I was wondering which colleges have a strong smash scene either within the campus or just in the surrounding area. Obviously smash wouldn't be the deciding factor, but I'm just curious to hear from people what their college's scene is like. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask around

UVA and VCU both have strong smash scenes, along with the Radford/VTech area and Roanoke College.

JMU has a "Fighting Games Club" that meets weekly, and smash is involved at every meeting along with many, many other fighters.
