Using Up B in the air as an offensive move

It does around 30 damage if timed properly, and I'm wondering why no one uses this trick. I think it would be fairly effective as a damage builder, especially if you short hop out of your shield and up b next your opponent while tilting left or right.

It's a nice damage builder, but that lag is terrible. They can DI out of the final kick and really punish you for attempting this. No harm in throwing it out once or twice a match as an unexpected move though.

Up-B being used offensively is stupid. I think its max damage is like 9 definately not 30. They could block, dodge, jump and then punish you for using this. Any decent wolf uses this strictly for recovery except in VERY rare occasions.

It's only really effective if you know they are about to roll backwards. You can usually catch them coming out of the roll.

Though, as I forgot to mention and want to make a point of it now, this is the opposite of a move you should be using in a game like smash brothers. It's high commitment, high risk, low payoff.

Guys, he basically just spammed every character thread with this same theory, including ROB and Pikachu and Snake.
