Using the wiimotes for MORE then just control

I just started thinking and i realized that the wii mote can hold things also (Example : Mii's). So maybe we could use the wii motes the save certain things on brawl. For example maybe even are 4 letter names. It would save a BUNCH of time so we don't have to enter them into every other game we play. Also maybe it could hold are online data like are friend codes so if you went to one of your friends house or something just take your wii mote, sync it, transfer data and your done! The wii mote can still be used even if we use gcn controllers also!
