Smash Journeyman
So I was thinking, I hate switching between my controller, mouse, and keyboard when I'm playing online, so how cool would it be if I could use my controller as my mouse?
I'm sure some of you have already figured out how to do this, but I thought it was pretty cool. Found this software called JoyToKey and it allows you to configure your controller as a mouse/keyboard! I set it up like this:
Joystick: moves mouse (duh)
A: Left mouse click
B: Right mouse click
C-up: scroll up
C-down: scroll down
C-left: Escape
C-Right: Tab
Z: Enter
L: Backspace (back in a browser)
R: Shift+Backspace (forward in a browser)
Start: Windows Start button
D-Pad Up: Alt-F4 (close window)
D-Pad Left: Nothing yet
D-Pad Right: Nothing yet
D-Pad Down: Toggles on or off the mouse function... actually switches from the configuration above to a configuration that only has the D-Pad Down enabled, which switches the configuration to the one above.
What do you guys think? I may make the right and left D-Pads be like "gg" and "hi" or something lol that way I wouldn't have to switch unless I had something to say...
The cool thing now is if I wanted to, I could play a game that uses the mouse with the n64 controller... that's why the program was originally made I guess. Anyway I wanted to share this with you guys because when playing smash, it was annoying to keep putting down the controller.
