Using Dolphin: Controllers

So, I have gathered that there are plenty of people that play PM on dolphin so my question is as such: what controller do you use?

My hope was that I could find either a Gamecube controller to PC adapter, but I am unsure of which one to get. If not, do you use one of those weird custom Gamecube for PC controller thingies? My biggest worry about those is quality, since I've been burned by stupid controllers like that in the past. OR do you just use a 3rd party controller and make due?

Its the one I have and it works really, really well.

Here's one on Ebay for $17. I have the same one, highly recommend. Just make sure you set a deadzone of 5 on analog stick,15 on c stick, and increase radius to 100 for it to work properly.
