Using an NFC editor or the new Amiibo cheating device to get all customs?

Just a thought, but since amiibo automatically gather equips/customs/whatnot and bring them back to you when you goto the amiibo menu again, could you use either this: www.amazon.com/Action-Replay-Powersaves-Amiibo-Character-Pc/dp/B00WRLS7KK or some NFC editting program to make it so your amiibo has a bunch of customs attached to them?

I don't really have any knowledge on these things but I've never seen anyone bring it up

....I don't know if this would work, but if it DOES, I'd totally get one. That's actually a great way to unlock all customs for tournaments and such.
