You can play Super Smash Bros for Wii U with just a Wii Remote, and the controller that comes with the new NES Classic Edition will be compatible with the Wii U, it has one less button than the Wii Remote setup, so could that work?
The game already has a ton of controller options, enough that in a 8 player game everyone could use a different controller, but it would be cool to see another option, especially since the NES controller will supposedly only cost $10 on it's own.
What do you guys think? Would one less button really hurt gameplay too much?
